WALKER TO MAKE HIS DEBUT FOR THE ENGLAND U21S

Im sure all you Spurs fans will be delighted like us that Tottenham's promising defender Kyle Walker has been called up to the England Under-21 squad for the first ever time.

He may face either Portugal on Saturday or Lithuania on Tuesday as the Three Lions are looking to take further steps towards securing a place at the Under-21 European Championships.

Walker is on loan at Sheffield United, where he has made 16 appearances so far this season. The Blades was where he served his time as a youth.

Kyle was drafted into the England squad, along with Aston Villa's Ciaran Clark, to replace West Ham pair Junior Stanislas and James Tomkins.

Walker was a regular for the England Under-19s, making seven appearances for them. He was part of the side that qualified for the European Under-19 Championships in Ukraine this summer.
